My laptop won't boot. Does it make sense to pull out the hard drive and put in my tower?

@johnnymac I'm currently between phones. I only have Internet because my tablet is tethered to my wife's phone. Can we talk early next week?

@nmashton It's the Madison Co-op Development Coalition. Representatives from local co-ops, labor unions, and non-profits are collaborating to promote new unionized worker co-ops. My role, as I understand it, is to coordinate the process and keep everyone on the same page.

Dunno if any of you recall that I applied for a co-op developer job... but I got it!

I was actually a bit surprised, because my competition was well qualified.

Anyway, my start date is delayed by taking a foster child for a couple of weeks.

@nmashton I'm part of a worker co-op of interpreters, one of whom is a native Spanish speaker, and obviously others of us have very high levels of Spanish as well. We could work out an arrangement, although we don't have an app.

I'm spending my Friday evening solving the last problems with my self-publishing site. It contains my translation of the book on the #bauen hotel and my translation of the book on #Arizmendiarieta (#Arizmendi). Neither is finished, or even close, but the thought that a few people might check them out is self-motivation to keep working.

@cocoron Erm... things are not great in the US. Dunno if you've noticed. Canada is OK for now. I can personally recommend Montreal or Toronto.
