it's #DnD night! my DM prep has gotten sufficiently far enough ahead that I am no longer frantically scribbling stuff in my book the day before, and through the randomness of play the party is now delving into scenarios I had planned out months ago. I'm reaching that place where I know the world well enough that mostly I can just wing it, which is super fun.
"But your honor I woke up late any throat is still kind of scratchy and I wore the wrong shoes so now I have a couple of soakers and the bus was a little smelly and so you see why I had to kill all those people."
the Hierophant. In #tarot, the Hierophant is the giver of wisdom who sits between Law and Liberty, the symbol of the orthodoxy. Usually rendered as a Pope, I had the idea to cast Lucifer in the role -- specially Sandman: Season of Mists' Lucifer. So here's his vacant throne.
didn't really have time to spend on this so just a quick scribble. #mastoart
The Emperor, dressed for war, standing watch and carrying a bastard sword. But his armor blinds and his symbols of office are all but absent. My favourite #tarot designs are the ambivalent ones, that carry both the forward and the reversed together.
Getting a little better working with brush pens, I guess. #mastoart
Me (reading): "'The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe and Everything is... ' " Yes! ' 'Is...' 'Yess!! ' '...Forty-Two,' intoned Deep Thought, majestically." Wingus: ... Dingus: ... Uh, what? What has 42 got to do with anything? Me: It's the answer to life, the universe and everything. Wingus: No it's not! Dingus: That doesn't make any sense! Me: good night, boys. Wingus: wait! That doesn't mean anything!
