Holy shit.
The original plan for the Johnny Mnemonic film was to be in black and white, and modeled on Alphaville.
I want to see THAT version.
(Anybody wanna make it for me?)

Do you think the raspi2 image for Interim boots a raspi3?
Imma find out.
This Dell i5 lappy came with Windows 7 Professional on it. I replaced Win7 with AVLinux. Now I've replaced AVLinux with Haiku. It currently feels more responsive than it has since my acquisition five years ago.
cc @craigmaloney et al.
Think I might hook the Haiku lappy up to my music-making things next weekend, which is what I would do with a home computer.
@er1n I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm trying to burn it all down, sorry

The man I inherited it from is not the real Dread Cryptographer Zimmerman either. His name was Cummerbund. The real Zimmerman has been retired fifteen years and living like a king in Patagonia.'
Maybe I should finally get a landline again
That 1969 Honeywell Kitchen Computer is freaking gorgeous - thanks for the pointer, @jon
Pro tip: the best way to prevent Google from scanning your emails is to stop using Gmail and then convince everyone you know to also stop using Gmail.

@aschmitz @KitRedgrave straitjacket coupled software is the best
@aschmitz @KitRedgrave agreed, it's definitely swinging toward an opposite extreme and pg is quite reasonable for what it provides
@KitRedgrave but I also believe postgres to be overkill for most reasonably sized instances which could probably get away with sqlite3 on ssd up to the first dozen accounts ;p
