@ayy The only offline friend I have is bricky. Even that is long distance. I'm not good with socialising or friendship.
-
@detectivehyde @rye Hmm. I'm not sure if aspirations is right. :')
-
Tbh, pregnancy will probably scare the man invested too, but more as an observer... there is an element of powerlessness and uncertainty about the outcome. Experience it once, and you aren't the same again.
-
Although many women have the capacity to get pregnant... it is still one of the scariest experiences a woman can go through.
-
Stress, death and taxes... three things you can be certain of in life.
-
@detectivehyde @rye I don't know. I've turned many corners, in a state of change and high stress. Which one do you mean?
-
@rye What if this is life tho? What if there is no making it? You just keep breaking into pieces until your time comes to die...
-
@detectivehyde @rye Really? Because I feel like it gets more confusing with age!
-
@rye Sometimes I don't feel like I'm healing... just breaking into pieces.
-
@detectivehyde @rye It's truly one of the reasons that I am so drawn to them. The human condition fascinates me... and so I seek out material that explores it. I like hearing from people too. The human condition is very confusing to navigate tho.
-
@wowaname @waifu Honestly? It's probably going to end up being a case where there is a flood of users coming over, and the majority will get bored and move elsewhere given time. It's probably not even worth blocking the instance at this point. It's a bit like what happened over here... so few people use SLC that it isn't even worth having us blocked now. I mean, unless I'm the problematic one!
-
@rye That is true. More than I would like to have.
-
@rye Probably not as much as you are thinking here.
-
@rye Maybe...
-
@rye Yeah... I just don't think I am ready to do this. It goes against so much.
-
@rye It's a deeply engrained belief.
-
@rye I mean that I've already blamed myself. ;;
I've done other things besides but we won't get into those here.
-
@rye It's a bit late for that, and I haven't always been good.
-
@rye I mean, I can't argue with that... ;;
-
@detectivehyde @rye Yeah! Richard as a character from as far as I got is the very definition of defiance to that virtue. He would remind his captors that he wasn't there by choice. Although there was a time where he did, all because his spirit had been broken aside from the part of himself he saved. He was put through a lot of physical and mental pain then.
