@miradlo Klasse! Obwohl RasPi ist leider nicht 100% FOSS....

    Mastodon web frontend:

    https://halcyon.bka.li/

    I like it!

    https://github.com/halcyon-suite/halcyon

(Why is almost every project on GitHub instead of the more FOSS friendly GitLab or GNU/Savannah? Hopefully it'll change in the future.)

    Can someone tell:

Did Randers FC in Denmark get relegated this season?

@matt That sounds good, thanks for the info about them. I only tested the free version so far and it's been great.

Anyone ever heard of the NVIDIA Geforce 8400M / 8600M disaster (or had own experiences with it)? It was ten years ago.

    http://www.apcmag.com/nvidia_disaster_thousands_of_gpus_faulty.htm/

ALL of those machines DIED sooner or later because of that faulty GPU. Do you know what the manufacturers did? Mainly nothing: "Apple - why aren’t they informing their MacBook Pro customers that their shiny silver laptops might just stop working and provide issues?"

There were even court trials because companies refused to pay back the purchase price.

@jt That's a somewhat strange space key there.

But those X machines are great as they're enterprise grade hardware (same with the T line).

@matt What's the issue with that IMAP bridge?
Otherwise good suggestions here, mailfence comes to my mind as well but not sure about the features.

@heluecht Sieht gut aus, nur der Koch hat sein geknülltes Papiertaschentuch neben dem Gemüse vergessen. Mich beeindruckt eher der Nachtisch, sehr schöne (und wohl sehr leckere!) Komposition.

@bennydarshan @malin "facebook does much more than to monitor your online status, explaining how that can hit us back in the long run is what I do for those." - certain people just won't get it, no matter how detailed you explain things. They simply won't understand and grasp (intellectually) what you are talking about.

    @angristan Well said Sir_Boops!

Maybe it's time to change to GitLab or selfhosting.

    Or GNU/Savannah. http://savannah.gnu.org/

@hund They put pageUp and pageDn as secondary on arrow up and down. home and end are secondary on left and right arrow. They kept Delete and Print Screen, Insert and Pause are secondary on F keys. ScrLk probably too.

@abbreviatedman If it's about second-hand notebooks, there is no big price difference (at least between the x220 and x230) and the x230 has the advantage that it has an internal battery (and it also runs coreboot). If someone swaps the battery, there is no work interruption. This is a neat solution. But the x220 is a great machine as well.

@unclesteve Other cool thing with OpenWrt is that µMurmur or uMurmur runs on it as a minimalistic Mumble server.

@hund Probably, but usually it's more convenient if those keys are not on the second layer. I didn't try it though and no comments so far with own experiences after switching the keyboard.

@architect @abbreviatedman I see. I tried Alpine once with awesomewm and liked it. However sometimes it's a bit rough around the edges and there were packages I missed. Did not try BSD flavors yet.

@architect @abbreviatedman Do you use Alpine as desktop OS?

It's fast, but unfortunately the available packages are a limited...
