"the copyright cartel is wiping the ground with our carcasses all around the world"
Meanwhile, we're talking about "organizing".
How's this for organizing: (1) Produce cartel-free media and host on cartel-free sites (e.g., peertube); (2) Favor the use of cartel-free media and cartel-free sites; and (3) Focus advocacy on stopping cartel-centric laws from interfering in non-cartel media / sites.
Simple, limited, and at least somewhat achievable. On the other hand, trying to overturn DMCA and other cartel-benefitting laws is going to be a decades-long process if it succeeds at all.
@charlag If they don't like IRC, which admittedly has limitations, then XMPP would make more sense. But Mozilla's decision process often is perplexing.
See the instance the person came from? That's your problem. Some day, someone will make a list of truly problematic instances and that one will be one of the foundations of the list.
Ugh. Is there a way to stop these moving avatars? Distracting and annoying. I'd rather see the default "no avatar" avatar than these things.

lnxw48a1I'm not expecting any real punishment against the guy that torched five predominantly Black churches in Louisiana. He's the son of a sheriff's deputy, so the "law enforcement" community will support him. He might get probation and mandatory anti-arson classes (like you'd give a thirteen year old that got caught playing with matches).
Haven't you noticed that your own words contribute to that perception? You're not fifteen any more. Act like a mature adult and most people will treat you like one.
@moonman Typically, if there's a news article, you'd better verify its claims yourself. I can't tell you how often the story that a newspaper published contradicted my observations of events I personally witnessed or came to a conclusion that did not fit the evidence they wrote about.
