@liw @cstanhope my sincere view on this is that general-purpose computation is best thought of as a sort of plague, and the more of our technological and culture landscape it infects, the more we will eventually regret it.

(it is not a coincidence that i hold this view after working for roughly a decade in an industry devoted to enabling the putting of tiny computers into more and more things.)

we started getting our CSA farm share, which as usual means i scramble to use a surplus of vegetables i've never even heard of before.

tonight's weird effort is going to be some kind of pie containing multiple types of greens, fennel, and something that may or may not be a turnip.
