    Buenas, me gustaría recopilar en breve lo más parecido a guías rápidas aunque también las detalladas para empezar y continuar en las diferentes #redeslibres.

    Con esto de la descentralización que normalmente cuesta entender para los no iniciados suelen faltar o escasear "sitios" a los que redirigir a las personas que conocemos para decir "entra aquí".

    Tengo no obstante algunos sitios decentes no siempre actualizados, pero me gustaría hacer un repaso de todos los que conocemos.

    Just as notation regarding "Warzone 2100": The game itself was first released as complete proprietary and the sources were made later available to the public, including the "assets". So I think linking this article for using it within argumentation is NOT recommended - seen that again on #Diaspora. Being sarcastic: Well done!

    So, #diaspora #podmin 's , the upgrade guide got me thinking, in the end it says that you have to stop and restart diaspora after upgrade, so the guide is suggesting that diaspora was running while it's being upgraded.

    I was kinda thinking it can corrupt something if you upgrade while it's running, so I've played it safe by stopping it, then upgrade and start again when done. So - it would be nice to just upgrade while it's running instead.
    So - what do you do when upgrading?

    @strypey It depends on the sender and the level of trust. But as spoken out from @therealpennyforthegu ... I would not accept the attachment itself without questioning. But that's another use-case: We are just talking about the amount of text and the user-experience inbound. I have no problem when you have another view on that, but it's all about reducing our communication with no further reason: I had also enough examples on #Diaspora and comparable platforms ... people tend to just simplified contexts, breaking up with discussions and talks, also with no reason or just the short comment on their own echochamber being unharmed. That's my drive in that, because I want a free society with free talks and openminded, reasonable discussions. Otherwise we won't solve our problems with simplified messages and talks.

    Nun was kann eine Software konkret für ihre Nutzer? Eine gute Frage: So haben #Twitter und #Facebook Probleme mit Beleidigungen und einem mehr als nur fragwürdigem Umgang untereinander. #Diaspora wiederum hat aber ebenso vergleichbare Probleme und es werden Verschwörungstheorien wie auch höchst fragwürdige Thesen und Behauptungen verbreitet. So werden Geschlechteridentitäten von Personen des öffentlichen Lebens mal einfach so aberkannt und dahinter wird eine weltumspannende Lüge wie auch ein Plan vermutet.

    Das Ganze weiterhin ohne Diskussion oder Hinterfragen der Grundlagen, sondern nur mittels Videos auf #YouTube. Genau aus dem Grunde gibt es auch eine Verantwortung für Betreiber dezentraler Netzwerkknoten. Genau aus dem Grunde sollte man auch eine #Netiquette nutzen. Jeder der mir mit #Transphobie kommt, kann bitte gerne gleich direkt weitergehen: Entweder gegenseitiger Respekt oder gar nicht. Entweder fairer und offener Umgang oder bitte davon absehen zu kommunizieren. Verweise / Links werde ich für das angesprochene Verhalten nicht weitergeben: Man muss diesem widerlichen Verhalten nicht auch noch eine Bühne geben und es reicht meines Erachtens das auf einem globalen Niveau anzusprechen. Es wird Zeit, dass sich die dezentralen Netzwerke stetig auch selbst reflektieren statt weitere API-Zugriffe und Protokolle zu implementieren. Letzteres kann immer noch passieren, dann aber mit einer offenen Nutzergemeinschaft, die auch wirklich bereit für ein Miteinander ist.

    diaspora-installer package is now available from stretch-backports. It has been available from my personal repos for some time now (we run it on diasp.in and poddery.com), but its a natural evolution to have it available from the official repositories.

    So all you need is a single command and answer a few simple questions to get a diaspora pod up and running.
