@theaduditor the beauty is that it doesn't stop with #mastodon alone it also interoperates with other #FreeSoftware projects that implements the #ActivityPub protocol. I have friends who run their own GNU Social instances and able to communicate with them from here and the toot threading is flawless.

@theaduditor exactly. I have also been a early diaspora user. Even though it is federated too, it seemed so static and same posts were repeated in timeline because of people resharing it. Seemed like a circular newsfeed.

Here the timeline is organized differently in a tabbed fashion with different use cases and engagements and appears dynamic & lively.

and yeah lack of API due to which lack of proper native apps.

@demonshreder @Ramgopal A section of people who lives free of manual labours, do not engage in material production and all they pursue is intellectual. It is for them Idealism is the superior and when they are the dominant section, it is no wonder they consider the rest of the society as a result of avidya. For they forget they live in this material world through the labours of the rest of the society.
