@maiyannah Probably. Given all the spycops, Occupy and cyberdissidents stuff of recent years I expect there's a lot of infiltration of all sorts of groups. But as the Victor Surge narrative goes, such HUMINT infiltrators may often by necessity have to help their hosts more than they hinder, lest their cover be blown.
@garbados @bhtooefr It's an interesting idea. Is the code available anywhere?
Currently on the Freedombone mesh version I have TCP enabled over batman-adv (so it's really TCP but going under layer 3) and I then I implement something like pet names. On initial install you give youself a name which will be your identifier on the network. It gets broadcast via avahi along with Tox and IPFS address. Of course there's the possibility of duplicates or impersonation attacks, and if that's an issue then Tox/IPFS addresses could be transmitted by some out of band method.
@bhtooefr @garbados Layer 4 upwards I expect to change. DNS in particular isn't really fit for purpose since it tends towards centralization. I'm not very convinced that DNSSEC is much better.
@garbados @abreakinglass There are a few different routing methods but the one I'm using works from layer 2 (network frames). Most others work from layer 3 (tcp/udp).

Bob MottramI had been planning to implement the Differentiable Neural Computer with libdeep this year, but decided against doing that since I didn't want to make the library more complex than it needs to be. But maybe I'll do it as a separate project in 2018. It would also be worth combining this with the capsule network idea for better classification matching on memory locations.
DNC is a bit more interesting than the usual deep learning stuff in that it combines the analog pattern matching of a neural net with the digital processing of a von neumann architecture. This kind of approach is more brain-like and probably more amenable to transfer and multi-domain learning.
@Gargron I've been in r/bitcoin 4-5 years ago. Everyone who was regular there knew it was a manipulative game (...at least many), and depending what trades ppl wanted to make or made the stories got published based on which direction ppl want to move the chart.
@irick Maybe the boss wants to create a crisis so that they can then heroically solve it and get a pay rise. Or maybe they're reducing head count and want to have a reason to fire you.
