I have it installed on the desktop. I was using it exclusively and didn't like it. It would freeze up and crash on a regular basis.

"Places" as such to just meet and socialize with people are limited to workplaces for most people, and the context of most services is getting people laid, not connected to a partner.

It's a frustrating situation for everyone, including the women dying for an intelligent conversation.
