@fatboy Iβve wondered that myself. Whatβs to stop an ad agency spinning up an instance and getting ads to us via the federated network? Like you, I love the interactions here, feels like G+ back in the early days. Hopefully this wonβt get ruined though.

@gairsty welcome! The mail article is in the works and should be released this week (if I get time).
The federated timeline us a good place to start. You could also go to joinmastodon.org to find other instances more suited to your interests.

@BarefootWarrior @ignitionigel you can export to a csv in Lastpass, however, I think you can only import on the windows version for some reason.

@bjoern @nextcloud didn't even know that was a thing. I'll Deffo do that.

@nextcloud @lx yeah, maybe a donation is in order...

@lx @nextcloud yeah, there is. I've played around with Passman. There is actually a beta app in the play store for it also.
I do like Passman, but it seems to be lacking in other features of Lastpass that I use, like form fills. I could live without that though...

@dajbelshaw @nextcloud I've looked in to lesspass before, but have some reservations about all my passwords being intrinsically linked to my master pass.

@algernon yeah, the Logmein take over concerned me also when it happened. Fell off the radar in the end though.

@lx @MooShoe possibly. If they do, I'll reinstall something else. That's the beauty of Linux. π

Hmmm whilst doing all this de-Googling and ultimately migrating to @nextcloud for a lot of services, I'm now thinking about leaving #LastPass in favour of #KeePass. However, the latter seems to be slick than the former. Anyone else made the switch, if so, how you finding it?

@lx @MooShoe not particularly, like I said, I also really like Fedora. They're pretty much on a par for me, but Pop just looks nicer by default.

@lx @MooShoe Fedora is a great distro, I've used it for years. The fact that's it's simple is why it just works for me. As I said before, don't want to remove loads of apps and theme it. I just want to install and use it.

@lx @MooShoe different things attract different people. Some people love Arch because they can get under the hood and tinker. I couldn't think of anything worse. I don't like to tinker, I like to install my OS, then get on with working on my machine. I don't want to mess around removing a load of bloat and theming the OS. That's why Pop appeals to me personally.
