Don't know anything useful about vue, maybe something like this might help?

    Nice! Especially:

Not quite text-only, but USA Today has a GDPR-compliant "EU Experience" at https://eu.usatoday.com/ which strips back all of the shenanigans of its usual homepage.

Looks good (on mobile), enough padding on the site, very readable. I like that it's a dark site(duh), but it looks luxurious, not like a l33t Hacker page. Top!

One thing I noted, my mastalab browser has Javascript disabled, and then I see nothing 😒

Doublespeak is language that deliberately obscures, disguises, distorts, or reverses the meaning of words.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doublespeak

So you "bought" some movies, and now they are 'no longer available', so you get rentals. That means you didn't buy anything. That's not the meaning of the word 'buy'

    Good article 13 summery:

    https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2018/09/european-parliament-approves-copyright-bill-slammed-by-digital-rights-groups/

When will we start calling major corporations zaibatsus? All this has no positive impact on individuals, so this is companies battling thru legislation.

Patents and copyrights have benefits for society. But this is a symptom of a malfunctioning system.

"The chief executive of a small pharmaceutical company defended hiking the price of an essential antibiotic by more than 400 percent and told the Financial Times that he thinks “it is a moral requirement to make money when you can.”

"MORAL REQUIREMENT TO MAKE MONEY" let these 5 words sink in.

Same here. 12gig is what I shuttle around, and backup all the time. Then some external drives with a bunch of movies and series.

My phone has the same amount of space as my laptop (128gb). Insane.

A faster drive in a workstation is probably more useful then more space.

Even if you use a bunch of VMs, offloading everything you're not actually using keeps things nice and neat.

The other day, I started wondering whose toots I've favorited most often—mostly as a "scientific" way to figure out who to feature on my profile.

One weekend-coding project later, and I can now share an app with all of you: the Tool for Tabulating Thirty Top Tooters (#t5, for short). https://t5.codesections.com.

It scans all the toots you've every favorited and ranks the top thrifty people who you've favorited most often. It's #freeSoftware and I hope you all enjoy!
