@JessSloan has an iPhone, but I dont' think uses a VPN app.
Heyyyy, Fedi! :blobaww:
How are you? What are your hopes and dreams?
Do you need help making a project of yours more visible? What is it about?
Do you... Have a link for me? :ameowbongo:
@sconlan what phone? this isn't the case for me
holy shit https://noclip.website/
@fry slick! there's a riff in the middle there that brought me right back to the mid-90s. Reminded me of Green Day - Longview
Big thanks to the mystery mastodon.club donator.
Always always always grateful for help from our community to keep things running.
Was playing with my 2y/o daughter this morning building circuits. She brought to me our "Snap Circuits" game asking to play, and we explored open and closed circuits, motors, and resistors!
I can't believe how absolutely enamoured she is by figuring out how stuff works.
@jonw @mike @codesections agreed on proton suggestion, been using it for a few years now with the paid vpn+mail bundle.
@kev might be able to fab a silencer for it, or add a baffle through the end.
Usually ends up louder than OEM but still quiet enough for day-to-day. At least from my personal experience with aftermarket exhausts ~15 years ago
@ink_slinger if you really like the phone, you could get a few broken ones from eBay and use them as parts phones to keep one of them in ship-shape.
@ink_slinger I need to attempt a repair first, but I may be in the same boat :(
@xvu I believe it was a 10GB root disk that I was using.
Do you know if its possible to run primarily on a server, then proxy from multiple clients vs. storing a full copy locally?
"Just install linux, what could go wrong"
@thurloat @dthompson crimeflare.org
@dthompson but they're the good guys! all these amazing free services! encrypted DNS! π
I couldn't roll my eyes harder if I tried, and I'm already looking at my brain.
No one wants to hear this about cloudflare for some reason, even friends friendly to decentralization are onboard with them.
A "joke" that I like :-)
@codesections but what about your unwritten changes! think of the buffers!
@ink_slinger i wonder, how are they making money?
