We're (I mean @ivan is) working on a hybrid between somewhat commandline-like structured sentences with some hints and discovery features with some more gui-like overviews (timelines, process flow graphs, etc).
#CommonsPub might fit that bill at some point. We want to support federating any kind of Activity or Object, and are implementing a GraphQL client API for maximum flexibility.
The car of the future will come with a 50 page EULA that prevents you from modifying anything or fixing it yourself, sends the map of every trip you make back to the manufacturer, can't be resold, and won't be supported 5 years from the purchase.
fsfjk;al I just found the List feature on Mastodon which is exactly what I've been looking for and I'm not sure why this isn't advertised more?? It's extremely handy
@mcpaccard Of course it depends on your needs. If you don't need a mobile device, for instance, Wekan is a nice free software copycat of Trello. See their website here: https://wekan.github.io/ and a free instance to try it (that we host for free) here: https://steroids.delire.party
(Their mobile support is basically using the web app in responsive mode, and it's a bit cumbersome. On desktop mode, it's pretty reactive and it fits my needs)
Hey Fediverse and #FOSS friends! What's your best free and open source alternative to Trello that I could install on my own server and use with my clients? Thanks for your advice and return on experience!
Sounds good! In that case, have you considered making the wiki functionality federated with ActivityPub? You could use the Article object with the Create Activity, and the Update Activities for federated edits with built in version history ;)
