@flussence Have you had poor experiences with the GIMP devs? The interactions with them that I've had has been pleasant (insofar as dispassionate pull requests and issue reporting is "pleasant").
@garpu i was playing a different game with the initials PoE: Pillars of Eternity. It's good but then I got distracted by Pathfinder: Kingmaker, and then I moved and am still waiting for my desktop to arrive.
I've been thinking about trying Fedora Silverblue as the basis for my gaming drive. It's an immutable OS, using flatpak for packages (and steam is available as a flatpak). Would be an interesting experiment maybe...
@garpu same but different. We moved because I work remotely and so we decided to take advantage of that freedom. I work on opensource.com now, which is great, because promoting open source is my primary addiction.
@garpu hey there! Things are good. My partner and I have moved to the south island of new Zealand, so we're basically sitting around all day in an empty flat until our stuff arrives. Our cat is profoundly bored.
I finally got to meet and hang out with the one and only @prokoudine while at LGM this year and it was awesome! (My biggest fanboy moment!) Here’s an interview I did with him about PIXLS.US over at http://libregraphicsworld.org/
@Ayior Unsolicited opinion: skip school, get an entry-level job at a visual effects studio. Learn on the job, work your way up the ranks. They pay YOU, not the other way around.
Geez, Nginx got ingested by somebody?? I went to nginx.com and panicked, til I found nginx.org. Hopefully it'll stick around. I don't even know how to reverse proxy with anything else!
