K'Naan's debut record _The Dusty Foot Philospher_ is one of my favourite rap records of the last 20 years. Torturous and beautiful and true. Later records were of middling quality but this one is damn near perfect.

i am increasingly fatigued by technology, which is why i increasingly retreat into dungeon mastering as a leisure time pursuit. Even when we aren't playing, being creative and relaxed with not but my journal and a fine tip pen is a respite. days like today really validate this.

@generica @weemadhamish my #DnD group plays with 5 streams. usually pretty solid, though on a busy saturday night we occasionally switch to audio from video

current status: in a holding pattern on an oncall escalation and idly wondering if i can force my #DnD players into Kafka's short stories. Before The Law would make a great encounter. Well, great for me.
