I just found out about the Switchcracker, a tool that lets you easily open the housing on MX switches. It even supports the new BOX switches from Kailh. A must have tool for anyone who's into modding switches. :)
@ChrisTalleras I have been hoping for a change for some time now, as I find it ironic to host your source code for your open source projects on a proprietary hosting service like GitHub – when we have alternatives like GitLab that's libre and open source. :)
@ChrisTalleras Sure, GitHub could change the license to something libre, but I highly doubt that will ever happen. But we already have several good options for hosting Git repositories that's based on open source software anyway. :)
@dar13@ChrisWere Thanks! I'll look into it. :) And yes, the freezes is apparently a common issue. And since I run my servers on it, it's been extra annoying. :/
I have high hopes on Linux 4.17. I really hope it makes my second generation Ryzen computer stable once and for all, because random freezes gets a bit tedious after several months.
@robots All users in one place is also not a very good idea. I know I can see and communicate with everyone from other instances here as well, but with different instances and different themes you do get the chance to shield yourself from things you're not interested in.
If I follow a person from a Linux theme instance, I know what to expect. On Twitter you could follow some developer and suddenly see some serious talk about politics.
