@wheeler I switched to GitLab from GitHub earlier this year and it was very easy with their migration tool that supports GitHub amongst other services.

@timapple I killed my 10 year old account recently. It felt a bit sad in a way, but mostly because of it's age more than anything.
I don't regret it for a second though – it feels very good to be able to say that the only social media accounts I have is on ethical and decentralized platforms that's based on open source software.

* It doesn't work with all websites, but most. Some are just evuul.

Brutaldon is a brutalist, Web 1.0 web interface for Mastodon. You can use it as a client for any instance. Currently you do not need a separate brutaldon account. It is compatible with almost any web browser, including text-mode browsers like lynx, w3m, or eww.
