They had a guitar amp real cheap at the flea market but I didn't want to buy a broke guitar amp so I found some headphones at the flea market with 1/4" jack and I plugged them into the guitar amp and I spoke through the headphones and I heard myself in the guitar amp so I knew it worked. Still got that little amp.
Headphones can be microphones. LEDs can sense light. I need ears that can talk, eyes that can shine, a tongue that can generate flavours, and a nose that is also an olfactory factory before I will be satisfied. #iodreams
i am interested in things that are luxury gay space communism
and of course all things Art. I am new to mastodon and am very excited a decentralized social media (with good UI) finally exists and I can finally open up without feeling like my interests, posts, and connections are being mined for profit :)
It's remarkable to me that after years of research into graph-databases and specialized data structures (to model social relationships), Mastodon has succeeded with, uhh, Rails on top of Postgres. I love it.
Finished laying out the Logic tracks for mixing - I have nearly 3.8 hours of new Carbon 7 music to mix. A little of this will be culled out, or maybe tastefully faded, but this will be a whopper when it’s done. I just hope I can find time to mix. Got the overhead, toms & snare dialed in tone-wise before my ears wore out tonight. Still bone-dry. Need to pick some reverbs next.

@ron @pinkcathodecat @brennen @mwlucas @hairylarry @thinkmoult I didn't know about this, that's really useful. I still have my 'Absolute FreeBSD' paperback on my shelf at work from back in the day when I first started dabbling seriously.
