Of course if a project has an ambition to gain a big userbase and replace other existing solutions, then that's a different story.
But I don't think projects like i3wm have such ambitions. I see them more as a "This is what I use, works for me. You can take it if you want."

@Dekken @Michcioperz from my experience, MINIX 3 is a nightmare to work with.
I mean, it's not hard to modify, but for that you need to get it to work first. And even then, it crashes or freezes randomly.
Oh, and it has a pretty poor userspace. Especially the shell sucks. IIRC it has no completion, and no job control (well that's actually the kern... I mean... system services' fault).

regarding the number of followers:
On TwisterP2P, the "followers" counter showed the number of peers who are interested in downloading your feed from you, but it was never accurate - it always showed a number that is lower than the number of followers.

@strypey @thog what I'm talking about is, if you wanted to redirect all mentions of olduesrname@olddomain to newusername@newdomain (even for people who don't follow, or for mentions with explicit domain) then this should require approval from the account you're redirecting to.
