@marco And my final tidbit of advice is to post a #introductions post introducing yoruself so you can be found organically based on interest. Use lots of hashtags! Thats the "search mechanism" for the fediverse.

@lindsays @kemonine @sina also nah that should be fine. If you can reach 8.8.8.8 via ping, I'd try a dig (drill if Alpine) at localhost and at 8.8.8?8 to see where it falls apart. If it failing local but not @8.8.8.8 then it's the dnsmasq config being a jerk and not forwarding.
