@wdavery @brotherballan to my knowledge, Plex only has x86 builds for the server - I had to cough up for an HP microserver to run it, when the plan had been to use the Rock64 I have. Made me sad.

Or have they released aarch64 packages now?

Just spun up a Gogs server on a spare Pi, as I was fed up of (mis)managing repos on various headless servers around the house.

It's pretty good! Lightweight, ofc (if you want features, you go for GitLab). Setup was about an hour including an Apache reverse proxy. Gets the job done, let's me store a whole bunch if private repos locally, but still follow a branch/PR/merge workflow.

@codesections @mooshoe @alcinnz @bob late to the party, but I'll add a vote for matrix. Using it as my daily driver for work irc channels, as well as an e2ee replacement for Signal with my partner. Pretty nice, and improving rapidly. Might even deploy my own honeserver at some point...

@mike thanks! Like all data projects (it seems) it was 2 hours of text processing on the scraped Wikipedia HTML and 30mins of Leaflet ;)

So my data science course project this week required me to create a map. That's it, create a map. However, implied was the use of some ... creativity :)

After some thinking, I hit on the idea of scraping Wikipedia and mapping the locations of the Mountain Association Bothies. I'm reasonably pleased with the results, for once, so I'm going to inflict it on you all as well :)

@realmattseymour marginal is the word, yeah. The techie in me loves the idea of getting poe switches - the 'me' with the budget points out I already *have* a switch... :)

@realmattseymour that's good for the RasPi 3 B+ which has poet, need to check if my other devices support it. Guess I should check the going rate for switches too...

@shlee yeah, I've already got a C2 and a Rock64. May well get a HC1 and migrate Nextcloud to it though....
