@moonman Gen Y & Gen Z are becoming pretty conservative. We'll see. I think you're wrong, especially as young people have harder and harder times getting jobs.
Glock: The Rise of America's Gun by Paul M. Barrett
Based on fifteen years of research, Glock is the riveting story of the weapon that has become known as American’s gun. Today the Glock pistol has been embraced by two-thirds of all U.S. police departments, glamorized in countless Hollywood movies, and featured as a ubiquitous presence on prime-time TV
It just occurred to me that "everybody" is an acceptable loss when it comes to gun rights. There's no death toll high enough to turn Americans against their Second Amendment rights. That's just how Americans roll. Seriously.
@corani I'm glad people are joining my theory that the Russians aren't coming. By the way, sanctions are inhumane and only hurt the people and rally the people against the sanctioners.
@dcgirl naw, we all walk in to get an AR that's at least a little tacticool. Otherwise we might get a Mini-14. Or just something else. We all want the gun we or the enemy used when we were young, even if we were never in a war. I've been intentionally avoiding 'black rifles' just for that reason. My Glocks are 'black pistol' enough.
@GummyNerds@yukiame@PhoneBoy I don't know but I already have a German immigration lawyer in Berlin named Sabine so don't tempt me. I lived at Lehrterstrasse 5d for like three years gladly across the street from Berlin Hauptbahnhof.
@yukiame@GummyNerds@PhoneBoy like I thought I said, we're itching for a fight. We might not need to defend ourselves with guns but good Lord do we want to. We even share stories about how other people get to shoot muggers, robbers, and home invaders. Guns have nothing at all to do with need, they have to do with both want and also the Constitution.
