@bortzmeyer@redchrision I wonder how important is this distinction. If I keep my git repository private, I am still "processing" personal data internally.
Right-to-be-forgotten could be similar problem to the revocation of the license granted to the project.
> #Stack is a development tool for the entire #Haskell development cycle, from installing the compiler and packages to testing and benchmarking software.
Personal data protection and free software: what about git commit history? If someone asks for removal of his/her name and email address, do we have to comply? Or can the exception of "legitimate interest" apply? After all, quality and security of code requires an audit trail.
@acw I think it is relatively simple for me: one comes to some places like thematic fora or mastodon not to deal with people one knows ("friends") but to purposefully interact with strangers. More tinder way, if you like. I have 2 telegram groups where I talk to people I know already and I am not sure they are like mastodon to me. (mastodon changed for me in the meantime though, much more interactions with new friends)
Have you already listened to the latest A Whale's Lantern album, "Portraits"? 12 of your favourite Mastodon musicians were paired up at random to make music together, and, as usual (and as the fediverse), the results are diverse, intricate, fun, and beautiful pieces of music.
@piggo no idea why glitch-soc was broken but a different error with vanilla got fixed in the mastofe commit not yet imported into Pleroma. So I have rebuilt mastofe from source and both glitch-soc and vanilla started to work. Now I see that vanilla gets removed from the frontend so I think I am going to remove all frontends from my installation and use brutaldon, pinafore or whatever.
