@thatbrickster @hakui @nepfag @dolus Social services has only gotten worse over the years. This is hardly a reason to upend an entire family, and cruelly take a child away from their parents. From the only people they've known throughout their lives... it causes instability and uncertainty. God knows there are enough children in need of fostering and we don't need to add more over stupid reasons like swearing.

@dolus @moonman @lain @hj @bichosan @roka @kro @nepfag Pretty much. There were a few on FZP a while back, but I think they took the hint that we didn't appreciate/allow that... or simply moved on elsewhere. Maybe to their own instance.

@thatbrickster @guizzy Not a very good reason to decriminalise it since it could apply to anything deemed a crime and that is a slippery slope. Not that I think we should be wasting time by criminalising it to begin with... I wouldn't call smoking weed a crime. It's not the best thing to do to yourself but it's not violating anyone.

@xj9 Nah... these are more than likely stoners from before. They were probably doing it before it got legalised, or have before even if it isn't by much. Canada has always been a stoner nation. It was just underground. :^)
