#introductions Hello all! I am a professor at the University of Guanajuato, Mexico, conducting robotics research and teaching probability, statistics and other subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels

I'm sensing a lot of negative emotions in the world right now. Time to do something positive.

For each like that this or one of the subsequent posts on this thread I will tell you about something I like. Only restriction is it has to be something you can enjoy as well so stuff like my family or friends are not something I'll post ( sorry, but you'll have to take my word that they're awesome )

3) One major challenge is how to get a good vacuum seal without using plastic in the lid or cap. Where plastics can't be avoided, they should be biodegradable and easy to separate. For example, if a plastic insert is used in a metal lid on a glass jar to create a vacuum seal, the insert should be easy to peel out. Use of metal films on plastic, and plastic coatings on cardboard should be discouraged in packaging.
