@lnxw48a1 like you said: probably full of his own self importance

@mangeurdenuage I'm not even going to dignify his message with a response (I don't believe he's on Gnusocial so I was happy to mention it here). Thanks for the tip though đđ

Just received a direct message on twitter by a nut job
who was saying because I retweeted something he didn't agree with then he would have to unfollow me. Typical of this modern age, people shout free speech, but then want to silence those that disagree with them.Â

@nybill LOL

Episode 6 of the On The Shore Podcast is out. This focuses on the theme of Christmas. It also includes the usual mix of traditional Christian Psalms and also modern tunes. http://www.lochsfreechurch.co.uk/community/podcast.jsp !christianÂ

@therealpennyfortheguy Thank you, but steady on: I don't want my head to get to the size where I can't get through the door LOL.
-
@therealpennyfortheguy I always like to try and look out for those around me, especially those on their own. One thing that I have no time for is the "ME!" attitude that everybody seems to have today.
-
@ghostdancer good day to you too sir :)

Good morning dear citizens of the !fediverse !tzag As the winter seems to be getting colder, keep an eye on those around you. Make sure that they have supplies in, if possible at all help them out. Whether it's by getting their shopping or spending time with them, let's look out for each other #BeExcellentToEachOther

@katiekats I can remember back in 90s a magazine scored a NES game at 100% I always wanted to play it but I had the SNES. I just can't imagine any game being perfect. I can't remember the name of the game, but I'm pretty sure the mag was N-Force. Scoring a game that highly is always going to lead to disappointment.
-
@kat you do like a strong tasting beer. Whatever your drink if choice is I hope that you have an excellent time over the holiday season đđ

After that tongue tingling experience of the chilli vodka, there is only one drink I'm going for: a Black Cow Vodka straight from the freezer. Cheers !fediverse *raises glass*

Trying out this chilli vodka. It has a lively smokey taste, the chilli is reminiscent of a ghost chilli. Initial tingle turns to a burn. Needing a beer with this as my mouth is on fire. This must be hot as I have a high tolerance for chilli heat.

@jezra malted barley is traditionally used in Scottish beers as hops don't grow well in our wet environment, so that makes sense. But our beers are generally quite low (3-5%). Anybody drinking 11% beer here would generally be regarded as a jakey (alcoholic, down and out). This is not one I'd recommend.
-
@maiyannah oh, that's not good âšī¸ I hope that, whatever it is, it passes quickly
-
@hellojed it's hectic but appreciate the time with the family; I wish I had done so when I was younger. Both times that we had large family gatherings at Christmas was the last time we were all together. One year I lost an uncle (54) and an aunt (late 60s) both sudden deaths. Three years ago we were all together at Christmas and my father in law died suddenly 4 days later (60).
-
The vodka was tempting, but it's tradition to enjoy a malt on Christmas day đđđĨ
-
Enjoying a Dalmore Valour malt. Cheers !fediverse *raises glass*

MrsKevie got me this for Christmas: Arbikie Chilli Vodka. I was going to have a malt whisky, but I may give this a try https://community.highlandarrow.com/attachment/331576
