I *hate* how this article was written. I get that the author is trying to flip the "millennials are killing X" headlines, but it comes off as flippant and condescending. While trying to be witty, ended up making the post look like an /r/atetheonion shitpost.

@ink_slinger one that i've overheard in person is the "collectables" industry.

heard some boomers talking about buying cheap coins from estate sales and stuff saying things like "kids these days have no idea what these are worth". I have a feeling the floor is going to fall out of their market and their hundred thousand dollar collection is going to be like the people who saved pogs and beanie babies.

I would use mastodon completely differently with a client like this.

@ink_slinger I just got a coffee with Soy milk in it. Not bad, quite bland, but IMO oat milk is better.

what other oat milks did you find?
