Well @puzzled I'm still puzzled too lol.

The tootctl commands don't do anything special--deleting unconfirmed accounts with zero activity from the command line also spawns thousands of jobs per user in the queue too, and still nobody can explain why this is necessary.

My system is still stable under normal use, so I will go back to looking at why sidekiq crashes when the queue is flooded before I do any more user deletes. Might still be how docker mounts storage volumes.

@Taweret in these times it is best to consult with @scream for insight into what is to be.

@puzzled on more than one occasion I've had people suggest to me "why don't you just use 'x' from Google instead of going through the bother of hosting it yourself?", and on about as many occasions someone complains "dammit Google just shut down/changed/broke 'x'!"

Google's track record demonstrates they cannot be depended upon to provide essential services to anyone but themselves.

http://www.symbos.de seems to be the only real source of info for that OS. It appears to be free to download builds for Amstrad/MSX/Enterprise but mostly closed source. Shame as it seems pretty close to what you're looking for. Maybe inspiration can be taken from the documentation and the "system library" assembly listings lol.
